The left lane on the freeway is intended for passing only. If you notice cars passing you on the right, driving at the same speed, or that your rear view mirror is full of the front of another car, you don’t belong there. Move over. Thanks.
There is not a single person in NYC or New England who has heard of this rule. It’s very frustrating.
It’s not nearly as bad once you get up into NH / Maine / Vermont area. Then again, the number of people on the road to pass significantly drops as well.

this reminds me of harvard square, just outside a tea/coffee place i go to sometimes. probably the only time i’ve willingly sat outside in the cold. and it was only ‘cause i was surrounded by christmas lights. (*squeaks* christmas lights, jeff!). i miss harvard square, haven’t been there in a while. if i had to live in or around boston, the only place i’d even consider would be cambridge.
Harvard Square is definitely my favorite part of Boston, and the only place I’d consider living.
